About Me
My name is Gary Taylor and I’m based in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. I founded WIS3R Coaching because I have a lifelong passion for people and take real satisfaction for helping them achieve their goals and personal growth.
I’ve worked for over 35 years in the Fire and Rescue Service, across a range of senior roles and at the same time I have been heavily involved in the health and fitness industry. Over this time, I’ve learned how to balance the pressures of a senior executive position, maintain excellent physical and mental wellbeing as well as a fulfilling relationship with my family. I’m not perfect and I certainly don’t have all the answers, but over the years I have built up real life experience that I can draw from and I’m confident that together, we can make positive changes.
I have a number of formal coaching qualifications and have developed my own relaxed style. I look to coach the 'Whole Person' and consider all relevant areas of their life. A persons’ health and fitness, work and personal life are all interconnected so bringing these elements into harmony will help to achieve your goals.

How does it work?
Some people are unsure if a coaching programme is right for them, so I offer 2 initial free sessions:
Free Session 1
We’ll always start with an no commitment catch up which is usually done online or over the phone. During this session we’ll discuss what support you need, how I can help, but we won’t get into any of the details here.
Free Session 2
If we feel we are right for each other then we’ll arrange a further no commitment session where we will look to define your areas of focus, agree a goal, and consider the best type of coaching for you. This is a very relaxed chat typically over a coffee or brew. This will allow me to create your Coaching Programme.
The Coaching Programme
This is a bespoke personal programme (usually six to twelve weeks) designed to achieve your goals. This will either be face-to-face, online or a mixture of both. My preference for the face-to-face sessions is to include some form of exercise as I feel this creates the best environment to make progress. This can be as simple as a ‘walk and talk’ or a tailored training session if you have a health and fitness goal. The number and frequency of the sessions will be defined by you and based on your schedule and availability.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be based on your individual programme but as a rough guide each session will typically last an hour and start from £40.
