WIS3R’s ethos is for you to not only achieve your personal goals but at the same time increase your knowledge, raise your self-confidence, and create the habits so you can continue independently without the reliance on expensive ongoing support or coaching.
Who are we.
We are Sam and Gary, a son and father based in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. We set up WIS3R Coaching because we have a shared passion for people and take real satisfaction from helping them achieve their goals and personal growth.

About US
Sam has a background in Sports Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University and takes the lead in all matters of nutrition and diet. Sam has supported a wide range of clients ranging from those who simply want to lose fat or gain lean muscle to elite athletes and competitive sports teams looking to maximise performance through nutrition. These have included junior Great Britain Athletes, PGMOL (Premier League football referees) and HYROX World Championship competitors. Sam is currently working towards a Doctorate in Sports Science alongside his other role as the Performance Nutritionist at Stockport County Football Club in the EFL (English Football League).
Gary has worked for over 35 years in the Fire and Rescue Service, this being across a range of frontline and senior roles and at the same time been heavily involved in the health and fitness industry. Over this time Gary has learned how to balance the pressures of work, maintain excellent physical and mental wellbeing as well as a healthy relationship with his family. Gary uses this blend of experience to develop and deliver coaching programmes focussed on your physical, behavioural and emotional goals.
We have a number of formal nutritional, coaching and academic qualifications and together have developed our own relaxed coaching style that is flexible to meet the unique needs of each client. The approach of WIS3R is to coach the Whole Person and consider all relevant areas of their life. A persons’ diet, health and fitness, work and personal life are all interconnected so bringing all these elements into harmony will help to achieve your goals. We take pride in our ability to connect with clients by truly listening to fully understand their needs and build trust.

How does it work?
Some people are unsure if a coaching programme is right for them, so we offer 2 initial free sessions:
Free Session 1
We’ll always start with an initial no commitment catch up which is usually done online or over the phone. During this session we’ll discuss what support you need, how we can help, but we won’t get into any of the details here.
Free Session 2
If we feel we are right for each other then we’ll arrange a further no commitment session where we will look to define your issue, agree a goal, and consider the best type of coaching for you. This is a very relaxed chat typically over a coffee or brew. This will allow us to create your Coaching Programme.
The Coaching Programme
This is a bespoke personal programme (usually six to twelve weeks) designed just for you to achieve your goals. Coaching sessions will generally be face to face, but nutrition assessments and progress check-ins can be conducted online or over the phone. If you have a health and fitness goal training can be provided at our local partner gym or your own gym if preferred. The number and frequency of the sessions will be defined by you and based on your schedule and availability.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be based on your individual programme but as a rough guide each session will typically last an hour and start from £40.
